“Tattoo Your Boots” event identity

It’s been 45 years since Timberland introduced the Yellow Boot. To celebrate this icon, Timberland launched “Tattoo Your Boots”. An in-store event where customers got their shoes tattooed by a tattoo artist.

We created the visual event identity that sparked people’s imagination and tied in with the 45th Anniversary campaign.

We created an identity that extended throughout the event and rolled out across in-store, OOH and digital. Inspired by classic tattoo elements and the outdoor character of Timberland we made several hand-drawn visuals.

This manifested into a variety of communication pieces like the shop window, street signs, goodies and online advertising. Instore people where encouraged to share their creative thoughts with the artist who transformed their ideas into a real piece of art.
